Specialising in print design, I am a textile designer based in London. Currently working as a printed fashion designer, I work in-house for a commercial studio producing print designs daily from hand drawing and painting. An all rounded designer, I use a variety of hands to paint and draw tailoring to a specific aesthetic and season.

About me
I have a passion for creating challenging contemporary colour, interesting and unique illustrative drawing, historical textiles and narratives. I have developed a loose and varied handwriting style in order to meet briefs but this also feeds into the creation of individual and unique illustrative work.

My process always begins with research that is varied and rich in its approach. Catwalks, museums, libraries inform my current design work. Univsersity projects utilise historical movements, social, politcal, and art, to enhance conceptual development alongside contemporary artist and designer references. Multi-media processes, such as collage, painting directly onto fabric, patchwork, print-making and experimental painting allow for more playful print outcomes.

My skills mainly lie in hand painting and drawing that is then put into a design on Photoshop. I have experience with Illustrator and InDesign however Photoshop is a tool I use daily. Industry experience includes current full-time design work in a London based studio, internships as a print designer, screen printing assistant and drawing intern.
